GENERAL INFORMATION

These trips depart from and return to Johannesburg. While we suggest the timing and itinerary that will maximise your fishing experience, we are able to customise the day to suit your needs. Timing varies but usually trips involve an early collection from the client’s hotel and a return to the same venue after dark. There are some excellent fishing venues within an easy drive of the city. Largemouth bass, sharptooth catfish, carp and various yellowfish species are all available at certain times of the year. We focus on lure and fly fishing but are happy to also offer bait fishing for some of the fish species at certain venues. We specialise in taking children (ages 5 years and up) out fishing. If you would like a patient person to teach your kids how to fish, ask us and we’d be happy to assist.

Transport to the fishing venue is in a luxury 4-wheel drive vehicle with high clearance. We may also use our small boat to access certain fishing spots. The price is R5000 p/day which includes up to two clients. Coffee and an early morning snack are provided as well as a light lunch, bottled water and soft drinks. Entrance to any venues visited are included. If required, equipment is provided on a replace if lost or broken basis.
